Max Tarr was engaged by Wairoa District Council to carry out an upgrade to their existing water supply to the small township of Mahanga which is a remote location on the East Coast of NZ. The Scope of work included:
Replacement of the WTP shed and reinstatement of pipework connections.
New WTP shed design & construction.
Pump surge protection & new 40x50mm S/S manifold
New Flow meter & RPZ
Sodium Hypochlorite dosing (Chlorine Dosing) Duty/Standby Configuration.
Reservoir connections & Level monitoring.
S/S Sample points
50NB Solenoid Valves
2x FAC monitoring wet-boards for new and old Bores.
Reticulation upgrades
New Switchboard & Controls, Electrical fitout & lighting.
