This contract scope included upgrades to Waimate & Eltham drinking water supplys for both WTPs in the STDC Region. An overview of the project works is listed below:
New 400x450NB Raw water pipework tie-in with new Rapid mixing system & dosing lances
including new service building to accommodate the rapid mixing unit.
Bicarbonate Dosing System & Mixing tank, discharge pump and associated pipework
Monitoring & control improvements including Turbidity analysers, sample pumps, PH analyser, Modulating valve actuators & level monitoring.
Service water upgrades including new connection from Inaha supply, new suction line to the post reservoir sample pumps, as well as new sample pumps at the reservoir site.
New Recycle system & corresponding pipework & level adjustment systems.
New Wet well including service grating, pipework connections to existing and new pipework, valving, fittings & submersible Pumpset.
Electrical, Instrumentation & controls including New DOL Motor Starter circuits, general lighting for new equipment, New Recycle water pump & VSD, as well as the Configuration & calibration of the instrumentation and integration into the existing NPDC controls system.
