PNCC WWTP Sed Tank MTI As Builts

PNCC engaged Max Tarr to under the mechanical refurbishment of their 3 sedimentation tanks at their Totara Road Wastewater Treatment Plant. These tanks are a critical part of the plant’s treatment process and as such required careful planning around timeframes for works. We worked closely with PNCC to minimize disruption to their process and undertook work during the dryer months.

The work comprised of the following components:

Supply and Install

  • Scraper floor wear plate, 60×6 flat 6m lengths site welded to a 200×6 flat bar which is welded to D10 studs chemset into concrete.
  • Scraper angle wall mounts
  • Scraper angle guide 75×10 EA 9m lengths 10.5kg/m
  • Scraper drives and motors new mounting plates
  • Scraper slipper plates
  • Electrical connections

Installation of PNCC Supplied equipment including:

  • 1650 ft of Scraper chain (550ft per tank) CS720S conveyor pintle chain
  • 156 x Scraper chain mount brackets, CS720S conveyor chain – F226 attachment
  • 12 x Scraper chain swing mount brackets, CS720S conveyor chain – PDF22-6 hinged attachment base
  • 12 x Scraper chain hinged attachment, CS720S conveyor chain – M1 hinged attachment
  • 6 x Scraper Bottom idler sprocket, 19t 720S chain sprocket with C type hunting tooth with 4″ bore
  • 6 x Scraper End idler sprocket, 23t 720S chain sprocket with C type hunting tooth with 4″ bore
  • 6 x Scraper Top Drive sprocket, 19t 720S chain sprocket with C type hunting tooth with 4.5″ bore
  • Drive Shaft rebuild + replace bearings and housing (Allows to reuse existing shaft, assumes no shaft build up required)
  • Bottom idler shaft rebuild + replace bearings and housing (Allows to reuse existing shaft, assumes no shaft build up required)
  • End idler shaft rebuild + replace bearings and housing (Allows to reuse existing shaft, assumes no shaft build up required)
  • 60 ft of Drive Chain, 20ft per tank of 4103, 3.075” pitch pintle chain
  • 3 x Drive chain drive sprocket, 10t 4103 chain 4.5″ bore
  • 3 x Drive chain driven sprocket, 40t 4103 chain 4.5″ bore (Split sprocket with 6.5” hub offset)
  • 3 x Drive chain idler sprocket 7t 4103 chain 4.5″ bore
  • 6 x Wall bearing assembly, 4” split cast iron top load with UHMWPE bearing
  • 6 x Wall bearing assembly, 4.5” split cast iron top load with UHMWPE bearing
  • 6 x Wall bearing assembly, 4” split cast iron bottom load with UHMWPE bearing
  • Scraper drives and motors
  • Existing timber scraper flights (Scraper Boards)

Cross Collector System

Supply and Install

  • Auger
  • End bearings and housings
  • Electrical connections

Install Only

  • Drive chain, 40 ft per tank, WH78 chain
  • Drive sprocket, 10t WH78 chain, 3” bore
  • Drive sprocket, 19t WH78 chain, 3” bore

  • Cross collector drive and motor, new mounting plate
