Max Tarr teamed up with stead construction and SCL for the construction of a high pressure pump station that pumps partially treated wastewaste water from the Otane oxidation ponds to the Waipawa Wastewater Treatment Plant. Max Tarr undertook the mechanical and electrical components of this project.

The work comprises the following components:

A new, above ground, positive displacement pumpstation using Mono progressive cavity pumps.
New mechanical equipment.
New above ground stainless steel pipework, valves and pipework supports.
2 x new stainless steel Screening Baskets and aluminium manhole lids
Electrical upgrades including a new external MCC, and other electrical capacity improvements.
Backup Generator
Instrumentation and controls which includes PLC programming and telemetry
